Description
Desperate times required desperate measures. After a new terrorist threat emerged, USSR Special forces required new weapons and equipment. First of all, this concerned armor protection, it was necessary to develop body armor and helmets that would provide the highest possible level of protection during the combat in buildings or transport.
In the 1990s, “Maska-1” helmets started to be used by Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Special forces and other units. This helmet is a replica of “Maska”, and has a weight close to the real prototype. It looks similar to the helmet worn by Killa — a boss from "Escape From Tarkov" video game. The helmet has a steel visor, and original suspension system.
This helmet has very cool recognizable appearance due to three "gopnik" stripes. Great for cosplay and airsoft.
